Hello, I’m Chelsi!

My mission is to empower women to live purposeful and healthy lives.

I am honored to serve in several capacities, including First Lady of Cornerstone Baptist Church, government relations executive, instructor at the University of Richmond, former elected official, and founder of the following organizations: the LWC Foundation and I am the CEO of my Health movement.

All in all, I am passionate about empowering women to live out their purpose in good health.

My passion is rooted deep in my upbringing and life experiences. Three decades ago, I was born to two teenage parents. My father was in prison for the first 5ish years of my life and my mom and I lived in what I call the ‘urban core’ - most would know where we lived on the Northside of Jacksonville, Florida as the hood. I still remember the day a bullet flew through our front door, just inches above my sleeping head on the couch.

I am no stranger to overcoming odds and teaching others how to do the same. I truly love seeing people, like you, succeed in your God-given purpose.

My journey has not been the prettiest. I have made many mistakes and failed many, many times. Yet, I am driven by my desire to give a voice to and be an inspiration to other young girls who are in situations like I was.

As you check out my website, you will see that I live out my passions through the LWC Foundation (my non-profit organization for new and expecting moms), I am the CEO of my Health (my health movement to empower to advocate for themselves and live well in daily life), and Sister2Sister (the women’s ministry I launched at my church).

Over my 12 year career, I have spent time in the corporate, public, and non-profit sectors. I have led global teams, served as the youngest elected female in my hometown, led rebranding campaigns for local and global non-profits, provided legal counsel to low-income residents, and advised local and statewide elected officials on public policy.

I live in the Midlothian, Virginia area with my husband and favorite pastor, Jon. We lead Cornerstone Baptist Church, the ministry my father-in-law started 34 years ago. When we are not discussing our church family and how I want to renovate our home, you can catch us our the living room watching Law and Order: SVU, No Demo Reno, and Unsellable Houses. We have been married for eight years now and one thing has remained consistent — Fridays are date night.
